‘Bitcoin and Friends’ is a web animated series released by Uncle Chris Productions. It is an eight-part series which intends to offer some laughter in the low salty trends of the crypto market on social media. The creator of the show aims to use humor and New Jersey lifestyle for educating people about Bitcoin, who are still to venture into the crypto world and the related technologies. Robert Allen, the producer of the series, thinks that it would be a good way to welcome the new people onto the crypto world and also this series will be of a “pressure release valve for the crypto community at large.”

The first episode of this series was released on 29th March. The story is about a lonely Bitcoin who is in search of his lost father. The name of the hero of the story is ‘B.’ B finds himself in a hospital and there questions like who is he and who created him start to bubble. He starts on the journey to find the answers to this question. On his expedition, he meets friends called ‘Tears of Clown.’ B meets his father Satoshi Nakamoto along with many other characters that include- Pal Fifty, Itty Bitty, Mitalik, Ethereum, and the Bankster Henchmen. You can watch the first episode on YouTube.

The crowd-funding has been made interesting by Uncle Chris Productions. Those who will donate Bitcoin to the animated series, stand a chance of getting their very own personalized character in the show! In addition, the donators will also get invited to private screenings. There is also a chance of getting digital figurines based on the amount of BTC donation made. Money donated for the project will be used for the production budget such as sound design, voice-overs, music creation, music editing, character design and so on.

On this the producer of ‘Bitcoin and Friends’- Robert Allen said-

“In the pilot episode, we started at the beginning of Bitcoin in 2009 and wanted to show the frailty and uncertainty of those early days. […] Bitcoin will become more powerful and confident as the season progresses.”

Peep into the story-

In episode B suffers through a condition called- ‘proof of work.’ This condition makes him vomit several smaller Bitcoins. B later on in the episode meets Jones (an African American character.) Jones takes B to meet ‘all-knowing’ inventor of ETH called- ‘Mitalik.’

The release of the next seven episodes is in wait of enough funding and interest from the viewers. Although the titles are already decided, they are- Existence Crisis, The Silky Road, Federal Undercover Agents (F.U.D.), The White Paper, A Coin On A Mission, The Big Bank, and Jamie Sapphire & The Rod Of Truth.

The Production house also wants to see if people are interested in contributing to the new comedy series which is based on the original crypto. As of now, the production crew is searching for talents in various departments such as writing, editing, animation, illustration. Anybody interested in joining the team is most welcome.
