WazirX was recently acquired by blockchain giant and world’s largest crypto exchange Binance, and since then, it has ramped up operations by adding functionality and utility-based tokens. Commenting on the new listing, Nischal Shetty, CEO & Co-founder of WazirX said,
According to Band Protocol CEO, Soravis Srinwakoon, the listing “will bring Band Protocol into the view of over 400,000+ users who will increase the overall awareness and liquidity of BAND”. In the official post on Medium, WazirX informed that BAND token would be initially available for trading only in the USDT market, though the expansion in the future is definitely expected.
Also, the user will neither be able to deposit the BAND token from other wallets nor can they withdraw BAND from the WazirX wallet. However, these features will be made available in the near future.
