Binance has joined hands with a globally reputed travel booking portal, TravelbyBit, for an exclusive project which will likely facilitate a user-friendly payment system for travelers. The two leading firms have partnered to create a digital currency-pegged travel rewards card, which will ease out crypto payments on the well-known travel websites. The pre-registration process for the bookings of the TravelbyBit rewards card has begun from today.
The official report regarding the highly anticipated project affirmed that the TravelbyBit travel rewards card would work in similarity to that of a prepaid debit card except for the fact that it will foster additional access to exciting discounts and offers on travel deals. The owners of the TravelbyBit reward card need to fill in their cards with cryptocurrencies of their choice like BTC, BUSD, BNB, and ONT. These loaded cards will then allow the customers to invest their assets in booking the flight tickets and making reservations in hotels via online travel portals like Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and Ctrip.
Caleb Yeoh, the honorable CEO of TravelbyBit, quoted that “Many businesses that accept crypto for their services charge users a high premium, which poses a significant barrier to adoption. At TravelbyBit, we want to make crypto usable, provide incentives for early adopters, and see crypto adoption grow. We are excited to work closely with Binance to bring crypto payments to travelers around the globe.”
The reports further clarified that the travel rewards card project will be launched in early 2020 and will be operable for travelers in ASEAN, Australia, and Europe. The project aims to expand its span to more countries in the near future.
Earlier in July this year, TravelbyBit launched its beta application, which allowed the customers to make digital payments with BTC, LTC, and BNB, for flight booking and hotel reservations. The amazing facility fueled up the traveling process by empowering clients with an easy payments network.
