Decentralized exchange of the Binance ecosystem, Binance DEX, has announced the “Stake Wars” competition for BNB airdrop. As per the official announcement, the competition started today at 8:00 UTC and will end on August 27. The competition is for the initial testnet launch of the recently revealed Binance Smart Chain.
According to the official BNB airdrop announcement, each eligible address will receive an additional 1,000 BNB to pull up its validator node. More than 130 community members have participated in the competition, though the deadline for participation has expired. As part of the competition, 3,000 BNB worth almost $70,000.
The Binance Smart Chain Testnet was first announced in July, in which the company revealed the two sub-chains would be existent as part of the project – Chapel Testnet and Ganges Testnet. BNB staking for the new chain was enabled by Ankr days before the launch of the testnet.
