Binance has always been on the forefront when it comes to enlighten those who are keen to explore the crypto field. Aside from having expertise as a crypto exchange, Binance has built crypto and blockchain related Academy named Binance Academy. The Academy has recently got the crypto lovers in Indonesia excited as it has launched its Academy service in Indonesia.
The move by the largest crypto exchange platform will be marked as the most significant step forward to crypto related education in the country. The Binance Academy will make Indonesian crypto learners to avail over 80 articles on cryptocurrency and blockchain in their own national language. These articles are also featured on a link: Binance.Vision/id/. By providing such articles in Indonesia’s national language, the firm proves that it considers Cryptocurrency and Blockchain education as one of its ultimate missions. With that, the exchange intends to reach to the community using as many languages as possible.

Binance holds the largest crypto volume across the world. With Binance Academy’s foray in Indonesia, the exchange will get to explore one of the world’s most important developing markets, adding to that, the country holds a welcoming and robust blockchain approach. Remarkably, Binance Academy is a nonprofit blockchain education portal, which aims to educate people with quality and easy-to-understand content on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Binance Academy was introduced in August 2018. The Academy by the exchange shows 726 articles, videos, glossary items, and other media. The Academy adds the content on the platform on a weekly basis. Not to forget that the Binance Academy is a ‘free to use’ platform.
On Binance’s educational venture in Indonesia, Ted Lin, Binance’s Chief Growth Officer noted, “Binance Academy’s expansion to offer Indonesian content reaffirms Binance’s strong commitment to advancing crypto education through quality, unbiased knowledge sharing that is freely accessible to all.” He added, “Indonesia is a key emerging market globally with more than 260 million people. The potential for cryptocurrency adoption and appetite for blockchain related knowledge is burgeoning, with the number cryptocurrency holders estimated to already be rivaling that of stockholders locally. Binance remains committed to driving crypto adoption, accessibility and financial inclusivity for everyone around the world.”
Moreover, to make it more accessible, Binance Academy has stepped into the Google Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMPs) project since January 2019. This will make the crypto education platform more widespread in the largely mobile-friendly world. In Indonesia, there are around 195 million smartphone users.
With this, Binance is making a significant entry in Indonesia, which is quite a blockchain friendly nation. It is the 16th largest economy by nominal GDP. In Indonesia, about 20% of the total population have access to traditional banking institutions. Moreover, the country’s financial regulators have framed new regulations that formalize the commodity status of digital assets. Having this crypto scene of Indonesia in mind, Binance decided to get into the Indonesian market at a correct time. The move by the exchange is not only going to generate impressive volume on its platform but also the adoption of digital currencies.
