Binance Introduces Multilingual Educational Article Bank to Tackle ‘Misinformation’

With the expansion of crypto space, speculations and misguidance also spread and causes harm to some extent. To fight this issue, Binance has launched a collection of 500 educational content articles which will combat “incorrect” and “misleading” information.

The product is actually developed by Binance academy that is the exchange’s dedicated education branch which started operating in August. It gives free educational insight into blockchain and cryptocurrency. With that, Binance academy intends to provide “accurate, neutral and free information”.

The newly launched content will support 15 languages, initially. Providing more details about the product, Ted Lin, chief growth officer at Binance stated, “Misinformation spreads extremely fast. People are frequently quoting articles that are either incorrect or are misleading.” He added, “With Binance Academy, our goal is to provide an entirely neutral platform with quality, unbiased, educational information.”

Lin noted that the content will cover subjects like blockchain, security and economics, and will have “useful tutorials and guides.” Although, it is not known that what exact information will be given in it. All in all, the content is focussed on providing information that is right and impartial to the crypto community.

Notably, Building educational resources have emerged to become an occupation of many other organizations in the crypto world and beyond. Recently, Gibraltar developed blockchain education courses.

Also, ConsenSys, a blockchain startup and incubator has also come forward to execute separate blockchain educational plans with Oxford University professors, in partnership with online education platform Coursera.

Coming back to Binance, the exchange is a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform, as it regularly tops the list of the world’s largest exchanges by volume traded. It has recently announced its own chain named Binance Chain. This step is expected to increase the adoption of blockchain technology across industries. The CEO of Binance, CZ hints that the new plans are a reflection of the traditional version of cryptocurrency and the tokenization process.

Moreover, the exchange intends to increase the used cases for its native token Binance Coin [BNB] in partnership with Decentraland, the virtual reality platform. TrustWallet, an e-wallet acquired by Binance is also to be used in the auction.
