Binance Launchpad Announces Launch of Gaming Platform WINk on the Network
WINk, the first-ever dapp to be built on the TRON network, has become the first gaming project to be launched on the Binance Launchpad. It also happens to be the largest decentralized application in the world in terms of user base and transactional volumes.
In an official statement, Binance Launchpad stated that WINk is slated to become the leading platform for blockchain gaming, especially for gambling games. It offers various online gambling games like poker, dice, and slots, with over 16,000 active players, more than any other. WINk also is an active contributor towards charity via the Binance Charity Poker Tournament.
Commenting on the WINk’s launch via Binance Launchpad, Binance co-founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao said that the gaming industry had been one the biggest emerging technologies and use of blockchain and digital currencies in gaming has gained significant popularity. He added,
Compared to centralized marketplaces, decentralized gaming platforms provide a wide range of tangible benefits from allowing users to keep complete custody of their funds, to fairness and security ensured by auditable smart contracts. We hope that hosting WINk on Binance Launchpad will showcase the advantages of blockchain-based gaming and help advance this space for others.
Interestingly, WINk is also the first dapp based on the TRON Ecosystem to be launched on the Binance Chain. Speaking about recent developments, WINk’s chief Ken Park said,
