Bithumb To Distribute NFTs
Experts believe that sports and growth in cryptocurrency adoption are correlated. The higher the Crypto platforms remain active during a sports event, the better their acceptance grows among the common public.
Founded in 2014, Bithumb Korea is the most influential digital currency exchange in the country, having 8 million registered users, 1M mobile app users, and a current cumulative transaction volume that has exceeded 1 trillion USD. Check out this Bithumb review for more information on the exchange.
Bithumb has even collaborated with 300FIT, a sports content creation platform, for distribution.
NFTs will be distributed to traders every time an athlete from South Korea wins a medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics. There is no specific condition as to which medal should be won by the athlete.
The eligibility criterion for traders to receive an NFT is that they must have performed transactions of at least 1 million Korean won worth of FIT tokens. The figure is equivalent to nearly $835.
Sports events have always remained at the center of crypto promotion. Various platforms have grabbed this opportunity to take their cryptocurrency to the common public and tell them about it.
