The U.S. based Wilshire Phoenix Capital, a privately held specialty finance company focused on the structuring of numerous asset classes while guiding its clients from inception to market has recently appointed Garrette Furo, a Crypto and blockchain expert and neuroscience specialist as its Partner and CIO.
Furo has worked with various governments enterprise, blockchain start-ups, global investment banks, wealth management firms among other organizations on numerous domains like digital asset allocation, product development, trade management as well as a variety of innovative concepts and perspectives. He held his position as a neuroscience researcher at Columbia University Medical School. Besides this, he holds publications and patents in the natural sciences with a dual degree in places like molecular biology and alternative investments from Hampshire College.

The current CEO and Founder of Wilshire Phoenix Capital, William Herrmann was working with BNY Mellon from 2005 to 2016 while serving as Vice President. During his engagement with BNY Mellon, Herrmann advised various global teams and executed more than 125 diverse transactions amounting to $50 billion collectively.
Additionally, he was requested by the senior and executive management team in order to lead various functional teams for which he was awarded. He was educated at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and New York University where he completed his graduation.
