The contribution of women today is not limited only to households. Women are emerging leaders in businesses across the industries, and Blockchain Ireland 2021 will be specifically focusing on the role of women in the blockchain sector in its week-long series scheduled to start from May 24, next week. The series will be focused on blockchain technology, and the theme of this year is captioned, Blockchain: Foundation of Trust.
The Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder of Blockleaders, Jillian Godsil, will address the audiences, and the topic of interaction will revolve around the importance of women in the blockchain industry. Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is counted among the most prominent innovations of the 21st century, but unfortunately, there is a dearth of women leaders representing these technologies worldwide.
The series, now in its third year, will be organized between May 24 to May 27, and a series of social events will be held to emphasize the impact of blockchain technology across the sectors, including the social sector, education sector, sustainability, innovations, and startups among others. Some of the most credible names from the Irish government, world economic forum, and European Commission, along with academicians, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders, will grace the occasion.
The speakers from various countries, including Australia, Africa, United States, and Asia, will also join the series to share their experiences and use cases of blockchain technology in the industry. The deliberations are expected to prove fruitful for both researchers and practitioners and are sure to come in handy in paving the way for the future development of blockchain technology.
