Blockchain Technology Partners Becomes Founding Member of InterWork Alliance

Enterprise blockchain solutions company Blockchain Technology Partners (BTP) announced on Tuesday that it has joined the InterWork Alliance as a founding member. Launched yesterday itself, InterWork Alliance (IWA) is a new age non-profit organization dedicated to creating a formidable framework needed to encourage innovation across token-based ecosystems.

Commenting on the launch, BTP Co-founder and CEO Duncan Johnson-Watt said that the industry can realize the benefits of token-based business models only if they collaborate and agree on a common approach for building and expanding ecosystems. Duncan added,

Apart from BTP, other founding members of IWA include Amberdata, Calastone, Chainlink, DEKRA, DLA Piper, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Envision Blockchain, HACERA, Hedera Hashgraph, IBM, ING, Nasdaq, R3, Tokensoft, UBS and Web3 Labs. Neo Blockchain, the open network dedicated to build a crypto-blockchain based smart economy, announced that it will be one of the five sponsors of the IWA project. It stated that this will help to realize its vision of the NextGen Internet, by empowering large scale commercial blockchain applications.

Apart from Neo, other members include biggies like Accenture, Microsoft, SIX Digital Exchange, and Digital Asset.
