Blockstack and Spartan Group Join Hands for Asian Expansion

The news came in as a pleasant surprise for blockchain enthusiasts. Blockstack is a decentralized computing network group that is growing globally. And this is evident from the latest development. In fact, it launched the Stacks blockchain in Q4 last year and has been expanding ever since.

Currently, with over 13 events in Asia, reaching out to over 1500 developers, Blockstack‘s efforts to promote decentralization of assets is indeed picking up pace. While it had gained momentum in Hong Kong, its association with the Spartan group will take its expansion to the next level.

The Expansion As Such:

Blockstack and the Spartan Group will be co-hosting several events in Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and more. The former will also take the help of the latter to translate the technical documents into the local languages. Spartan Group would also be responsible for helping Blockstack in hiring people for Asian positions. The duo will collaborate in hiring Asian investors, among other things.

The Itinerary and the Schedule of Events:

According to Blockstack’s official page, The Asia tour will involve Blockstack’s CEO and founder Muneeb Ali and Brittany Laughlin. It will also feature Blockstack’s Investor Relations Partner and other evangelists and contributors.

The events have been scheduled as follows:

  • Taipei, April 26 – 27: DLT 101
  • Dubai, April 28th: Blockstack in Dubai with Muneeb Ali
  • Singapore, April 29: The Blockstack Decentralized Computing Network and Fireside Chat with Zilliqa
  • Seoul, May 2: The Blockstack Decentralized Computing Network and Fireside Chat with Hashed
  • Hong Kong, May 6: The Blockstack Decentralized Computing Network and Fireside Chat with Larry Salibra

Experts believe that Asia is the biggest driving force behind the popularity of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The region is also said to have some of the biggest mining pools. It is also developing as a technologically savvy region with advanced chip designers and manufacturers. It is also believed that the region has the largest population of mobile first and mobile-only users, apart from a billion Intenet users.
