Brave Browser is LIVE now! Chance of earning 70% of Revenue from Basic Attention Token (BAT)

Yes, you heard it right! The Brave browser has gone Live. The users of this browser have an additional benefit of earning 70 percent of the revenues that will be generated from the Basic Attention Token aka BAT. What does that mean? Well, all you need to do is to voluntarily view the browser’s ads and earn you a chance of earning the aforementioned exciting benefits.

The company’s advertising platform recently moved up the ladder from phase one to phase two. The announcement was made on 8th March. This advancement made the Brave Ads to get featured on the platform and to be ‘available to the users on the developer release’ as per the reports obtained from cryptoslate.com. Since the close of the Brave Rewards 30 days cycle is around, it is time for the Brave users to claim their Basic Attention Token aka BAT points that they stored from viewing the ads voluntarily.

These advancements and the innovations in the advertising sphere has to lead the company to reach higher growth levels and to reach Brave’s vision of offering private and fast internet browsing user experience. The end of the testing phase- the first phase, the Brave Ads Server embarked upon tracking more than 450 ads as well as gained 53 campaign commitments. Brave Ads company has made a good number of important partnerships for the ads services promotion and business growth. Some of the examples with which it has partnered recently are- Uphold, BuySellAds, TAP Network, AirSwap, and Fluidity. The BuySellAds was the first ad partner of Brave Ads Server. Their partnership fetched new growth in Brave Ads’ API. It also opened the gates for the ad revenue from technology brands such as Slack, PaperTrail, among others. On 8th March the company said the following in the announcement-

“Today, the Brave Ads Developer Channel Preview advances from phase one to phase two. Phase one provided the first public opportunity for brands, marketers, developers, and the community to test the Brave Ads experience from our Developer channel. Advertisers from our Early Access Program (including BuySellAds, TAP Network, AirSwap, Fluidity, and Uphold) entered an important public test and learned phase, providing key examples of early use cases. Users began engaging with a new, inclusive private ad experience for the first time. We received valuable feedback, bug reports, and encouragement in the process.

Phase two provides token rewards to users for their attention and introduces Brave’s anonymous-but-accountable campaign reporting for brands. Public documentation about the ad confirmations protocol can be found here.  All the code necessary to support both ads and confirmations in the browser is open source and can be found here.

With today’s Developer Channel update (version 0.63.4), testers on OS X, Linux and Windows x64 (with 32-bit/x86 to follow shortly) will start to see the ads they are viewing being counted (“ad notifications received”) on the Brave Rewards Settings Page.”

If we look at the browser usage data from StatCounter, we will find that Google Chrome holds 62 percent usage; Safari holds 15 percent, while the Firefox holds 5 percent. This data has been collected based on all the platforms that include windows desktop and iOS systems, tablets, android mobiles, and iOS smartphones.

With such stiff competition, of course, Brave needs to offer some groundbreaking services to tilt the user base towards them. Brave might find it useful to explore innovative services sector or can look into enhancing the user experience. Yes, the company is already making good progress in both the sectors, so it will be interesting how things turn out to be for this innovative company. The Brave browser is easily available on the company’s official website.
