BTFS Testnet Gets Officially Launched By TRON
When it is TRON, there are always new developments and exciting innovations taking place that keep its larger fanbase glued to it effortlessly. One such interesting development took place on 1st July when TRON launched the BTFS Testnet officially. The update of the launch was shared with the crypto community by Justin Sun through his micro-blogging handle on Twitter on the same day.

In order to make things more interesting, Sun stated that they will be integrating the BTFS Testnet not only with the TRON blockchain but the BTT ecosystem as well soon. It is a huge step for TRON as well as the entire blockchain industry in a way as TRON will introduce the use case to a user base of around 100 million, pointed out the official blog post published on Medium today.
The blog post also went on to outline the primary highlights of this launch, wherein it said that the BTFS Testnet nodes have been deployed across regions around the globe. That will ensure the developer community has better access to it. BTSF AutoUpdate, another key feature, will ensure that all the nodes are up-to-date with the latest updates, features, and fixes.
In addition to that, a dedicated developers’ API documentation for BTFS has also been released for developers to reference. Also, demonstration decentralized applications guiding through the integration process of BTFS with the network of TRON will prove to be handy for developers while developing dApps.
The TRON Foundation in the blog post conveyed that they were capable of building the Testnet in a ‘very short amount of time.’ They are looking forward to receiving the support of the community along with the feedback.
In the meanwhile, Korea-based global crypto exchange Bithumb took to Twitter to announce that following the 5th airdrop; it will be extending its support for BitTorrent (BTT) 6th airdrop for all the TRX (TRON) members. As of now, the decided TRX snapshot time is 9 a.m. (KST) on 11th July 2019.
