Bullieverse Integrates ChainLink VRF for Bear Hunt NFT Game

The Bullieverse metaverse on Ethereum and Polygon have integrated the ChainLink Verifiable Random Function. The decision was made for a fair distribution of NFTs in the new Bear Hunt 3D game. Moreover, the function will help users verify the transparency of the game while also making sure everyone stands an equal opportunity to win the exclusive Bear NFTs.

Bulliverse is an open metaverse built on the Unreal engine that combines a fantastic gaming experience with NFTs. The metaverse project also offers an opportunity to socialize and make new friends in addition to the exciting games. Bulliverse hopes to gradually become a fully decentralized, community-driven metaverse with help from BulliverseDAO.

Bulliverse has launched its NFT game Bear Hunt, where users can use their 2D Bull NFTs as 3D avatars to hunt for bear NFTs. The project also develops Battle Royale games with 3D bull and bear avatars. In addition to the native NFTs, the project is also in discussions with other NFT projects to make interoperable animated NFTs for the game.

However, the metaverse is likely to face difficulties in NFT distribution with a reliable randomization function. The function should also be compatible with the provably fair guidelines and offer transparency. These functions are also integral for the project to evolve into a community-owned metaverse.

After much deliberation, Bulliverse has decided to integrate the Verifiable Random Function Developed by ChainLink in its Bear Hunt NFT game. The function will also be utilized in all future games and events from the Bulliverse metaverse.

The VRF is backed by extensive academic research from the ChainLink oracle network. This function, moreover, is time-tested, and the verifications are excited through secure cryptographic proofs. These proofs are used to verify each choice’s integrity and randomness and integrity whenever a number is chosen.

The current Random Number Generators used in games require extensive efforts to be implemented and need periodic maintenance. There is a higher chance of data manipulation validators if they are derived from the blockchain itself. If the data blocks happen to be derived from off-chain sources, there is no reliable way to verify their integrity.

On the other hand, ChainLink VRF will execute when the data is still concealed and generates a random number and cryptographic proof through a private key. Now, Bulliverse can only accept the number as long as it is accompanied by cryptographic proof. This proof cannot be generated when the data is not secure and tamper-proof. It creates an automated system of verification that ensures that the data is not tempered by the metaverse, the oracle, or any outside entities.

ChainLink VRF has become one of the most reliable randomization functions available in the crypto ecosystem. The function has already received endorsement from gaming and NFT projects like Project: Pigeon, Ragnörak, The God Panel, and EMDX.
