Trading in cryptocurrencies has gained a good amount of momentum in the past few years owing to the lucrative returns bestowed upon to the investors.

Despite, earning a lot of attention from the masses, a large section of our community hesitates to indulge in trading of this new-age currency.

To foster the crucial purpose of mass inclusion of investors in cryptocurrency trading, Button Wallet has unveiled its first free cryptocurrency testing playground on the widely-used messenger platform, Telegram Open Network

(TON).

The popular multi-cryptocurrency wallet provider Button Wallet is all set to facilitate peer-to-peer digital asset services for the 300 Million Telegram app users. To induce more of investors, the application is providing a giveaway of 6.6 testnet GRAMS tokens on the activation of the TON wallet.

Apparently, with a probability of being launched in October 2019, Button Wallet is using the free giveaway as a tool to encourage people to deal in virtual currency, experience real-time trading but without bearing any potential risk factors.

Button Wallet’s co-founder and CEO, Alex Safonov, quoted:

Cryptos’ biggest obstacle is mass adoption and what we’ve created will help people comfortable with trading cryptocurrency without using real money.

He further mentioned about the hype created about the launch of the cryptocurrency ‘Libra’ by the social media giant, Facebook, and elaborated the general risk factors which haunt the proliferation of digital assets. The leader stated:

With all the fanfare surrounding Facebook’s Libra digital currency, there hasn’t been a way to explore digital assets without risk, until now with BUTTON Wallet and the Telegram Open Network. Our goal is to give people an avenue to participate in peer-to-peer transactions without risks on one of the largest messenger platforms, Telegram. This will help teach consumers the ins and outs of how the messenger banking ecosystem works, creating consumer confidence and furthering mass-market adoption of digital assets.”

The platform uses only a single base language named Fift, TON’s smart contract language. Also, because of the challenges inscribed with TON implementation, the software developers will only be able to build and utilize GRAMS on an advanced infrastructure.

Security Issues To Raise Concerns

The news of the launch of Button Wallet’s services on the popular messaging app Telegram has given birth to several reports concerning security threats.

According to a report by Forbes, a technical bug is intruding the security mechanism of Telegram by leaking the phone numbers within the portal’s messaging chats.

This piece of information about the bug attack has tormented the Telegram community users in Hong Kong as they feel that this bizarre security failure will bring their information out in front of the Chinese authorities.
