Cardano’s Inventor Predicts An “Internet Of Blockchain”

The cryptocurrency industry is cruising right now, with over 1,600 cryptocurrencies around the world. The masses are accepting crypto as a viable payments system, and its mass adoption is already here.

One major reason behind the industry’s growth is the constant delivery of esteemed ventures like Cardano. The Swedish cryptocurrency has had a terrific year already, and with the growth, Charles Hoskinson (co-founder of ADA and ETH) has made an astounding announcement.

What is it? Let us find out.

Cardano’s Market Growth in 2021

2021 has been an amazing year for the crypto market in general, and unlike its competitors, Cardano has seen an outright 300% of growth in its value. Cardano is now overall valued at 40 billion dollars, and its popularity continues to grow by the minute.

The currency only came out of the protocol in March and is already establishing an example in the industry.

Cardano Africa 2021 Event with Charles Hoskinson

The CEO of Cardano and the co-founder of ETH, Charles Hoskinson, will be holding a special event in Africa, celebrating its achievements in the continent along with its upcoming plans.

The event will be replacing Cardano 360 sessions, which offered development updates regarding the crypto’s ecosystem along with exciting news. Charles states that the event is not about promises or aspirations but about delivery.

The event will take place on 29 April 2021, highlighting the crypto’s success in Africa specifically.

Cardano’s Inventor Predicts an Internet of Blockchain?

In a recent interview, Charles stated that the next 3 to 5 years would witness the crypto ecosystem turn into an internet of blockchain. Users will be capable of staying liquid while jumping from one platform to another in an instant.

As the platforms compete, the costs will be reduced, forcing the ventures to turn to cross-chain communication protocols. He further added that Cardano (ADA) is over 1.6 million times energy-efficient than Bitcoin (BTC).

The statement is not the first of its kind, as Chris Larsen (the co-founder of Ripple) has already stated that BTC should follow ETH’s lead. According to Hoskinson, proof-of-stake is far better than the proof-of-work algorithm.

With the crypto community buzzing, Cardano (ADA) has witnessed an unprecedented value surge, and with events like Cardano Africa 2021, its popularity will only grow.

Hoskinson, its creator, has also stated some interesting speculations in a recent interview.
