Chainlink is currently experiencing a significant increase in developer traction, as per Santiment analysis, a market intelligence platform. This has resulted in the decentralized oracle network being placed directly behind the market leader, Hedera.
Hedera is currently the most prominent company in terms of GitHub functions, according to its belief. It is evident that the activity level in the Chainlink constructor data related to GitHub archives has increased over the past month, and it is now just behind Hedera.
On July 1, Santiment disclosed the top 10 projects in terms of the number of GitHub events in June in a post on X. The ranking is determined by the number of non-redundant activities included in the development activity calculation. Hedera continues to maintain its lead with 759 GitHub activities, while Chainlink is in second place with 526 activities.

Optimism (OP) is in the third position, with 481 activities, with Internet Computer (ICP) following closely behind with 434. The remaining names on the list are as follows: Cardano (ADA), Cosmos (ATOM), Status (SNT), ZKsync (ZK), Starknet (STRK), and Aptos (APT).
However, developer activity is not associated with the market-related accomplishments of the relevant initiatives. The only coins that experienced an increase in traction following their respective airdrops were Starknet and ZKsync, while the rest of the coins experienced a decline in market evaluation.
In June, HBAR’s price declined 25%, while LINK, ICP, OP, and ADA concluded the month with prices of 22%, 32%, 28%, and 10%, respectively. Cosmos Hub and Aptos tokens experienced a 19% and 22% decline over the course of 30 days, respectively.
In spite of this, the significant increase in developer activity suggests that a robust network has been established regarding the projects. Additional advantages include expanded item offerings and enhanced user acceptance.
