Coinbase to Participate in Amazon’s AWS re:Invent 2019

Coinbase has announced that it will be a major participator in the prestigious AWS re:Invent 2019 event in Las Vegas. The annual event is a major global conglomeration of the technical experts and Technical decision-makers from the cloud computing world. The 5-day event is organized by AWS (Amazon Web Services) will be held from 2-6 December 2019.

Last year, more than 50,000 participants graced the event and this year, record break participation is expected at the conference.

The Coinbase team is excited to be part of the conference. Its technical team will exemplify its site reliability, scaling blockchain infrastructure, and training about cryptocurrencies at the event.

Coinbase is a close associate of Amazon at various levels. Coinbase infrastructure is powered by Amazon covering its database storage area, analytics, and every possible area. Coinbase is a regular participant in their AWS Loft in San Francisco, where it demonstrates their technology and their open-source that runs on AWS.

Coinbase aims to build a global financial system where cryptocurrencies and blockchain usage will be available to the masses.

Coinbase is keen to share its technological explorations with the fellow community. The company has extended its team from 600 to 800 employees in the last year and is consistently marching ahead in the field of the Blockchain and cryptocurrency industry with its innovations and technical solutions.

Presentation on Coinbase Incident management by leveraging AWS – By Ami Li (Site Reliability Engineer) and Lalita Maraj (Software Engineer in Cloud team) on Dec 4 at 12.15 pm.

Presentation on Use of Amazons Pinpoint for Core Engagement Services – By James Lu (Software Engineer) and Goutham Buchi (Engineering Manager) both from Consumer Products Team on December 4 at 10.45 am.

A presentation on Utility of AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) to develop a serverless application in a security-conscious organization – By Graham Jenson (Sr. Software Engineer from Cloud Team) on December 2 at 4.40 pm.

Re: Invent 2019

The Conference will have more than 2500 breakout sessions, workshops, interactive sessions, and builders’ sessions that will cover the core topics of the emerging technologies. Events include Boot camps to upgrade the skills, AWS Certification to the experts, Hands-on Labs to build and learn skills, Expo demonstrating the AWS Village, Developer lounge, Sponsor booths, Content theatre, Builders fair, etc. Quads to host the Builders fair, Sponsor activations, a Content theater to watch the breakout sessions and several other activities.
