Zilliqa Mainnet’s ZIL Tokens on Coinhako with 30% Discounts on Trade Fees

Yesterday, Coinhako made an announcement on Twitter regarding its support for Zilliqa’s ZIL token. The token is now available on the platform. Moreover, to make things even more interesting, Zilliqa has topped up the excitement with a limited-period discount of whopping 30 percent on the trade fees on their platform. This discount offer is valid till 6th July 2019. For those who are interested in availing this discount, can use the promo codes that are provided on the official blog of Coinhako. The promo codes are categorized based on fiat currencies.

How to send and receive Zilliqa?

The users of the Coinhako platform can now receive and send ZIL through the web platform and through mobile applications. On the mobile platform, it is available on both Android and iOS operating systems. In order to create a new address, the users need to go through the “receive screen” and look for Zilliqa.

Mistakes that you should stay clear of:

  • The official blog of Coinhako clearly states that sending ERC 20 Zilliqa to the mainnet deposit address can lead to non-recoverable permanent loss. Therefore, the users are strongly advised not to send ERC 20 Zilliqa to the mainnet deposit address.
  • The second thing to bear in mind is to stay away from sending- “mainnet Zilliqa to the deposit addresses for Ethereum or ERC20 tokens within your Coinhako account.” This too can result in non-recoverable permanent loss.
  • The withdrawals made on Zilliqa will be processed on the company’s mainnet and should be made to the mainnet Zilliqa address. As per the blog- “ERC20 withdrawals are no longer supported.”
  • The users can make use of “checksum” for differentiating between Zilliqa Mainnet addresses and the Ethereum addresses. With the help of checksum, details such as missing letters, silly typing mistakes, and so on, can be verified. For further safety, the Coinhako platform does not permit “Zilliqa mainnet withdrawals to addresses without a checksum.” Visit us to know more about the cryptocurrency exchange Singapore – Coinhako.

Swapping Zilliqa:

For those who wish to swap the ERC 20 Zilliqa, they would need to create a receive address and then send the ERC20 ZIL to it. As a caution, the company has stated that the users must not use the Zilliqa receiving address since they are only for getting mainnet Zilliqa.

Dapps going live on the platform, such as BOLT, Hg Exchange, and the numerous blockchain games that we have in the pipeline.

Further, improvements on the core protocol, more tools for developers. One can expect “events and hosting more workshops and meet-ups.”

As of now the main priority of the platform is “blockchain education” through initiatives such as “Blockchain A-Z” which is in partnership with King’s College London’s student-led KCL Blockchain society. The company wants to engage the new generation into innovation and creative creations to grow the crypto industry overall.
