Concordium Gets the Iconic Web 3.0 Japanese Game From Platinum Egg

The well-known Japanese game developer Platinum Egg has plans to integrate the Concordium Blockchain into its Web 3.0 game, CrossLink. With this collaboration, Platinum Egg is making it simpler for individuals with no prior knowledge of cryptocurrencies to feel secure when entering the industry. Another obstacle to cryptocurrencies’ widespread adoption in Japan is the perception that they are not secure. There is a culture of suspicion towards new financial products due to a long history of strict banking laws and regulations, making it more challenging for those without a strong foundation in cryptocurrency to enter the market.

Nariya Takemura, president of Platinum Egg, states that the company believes that Concordium’s focus on identity security and Crosslink’s straightforward entry point will be an effective catalyst for luring new users who aren’t previously aware of encryption.

Crosslink, which has more than 250K users now, seeks to be a means of introducing novices to the cryptocurrency industry. Unlike other blockchain-based games, Crosslink does not require a purchase to start playing and earning rewards. CrossLink is a game that merges GPS and gaming to provide a brand-new gaming experience that links the physical and virtual worlds. Players can send out heroes to challenge extraterrestrial life, defeat raid bosses, and gain prizes anywhere on Earth!

Concordium is excited to partner with Platinum Egg. The ID layer and security of Concordium will benefit Crosslink, an existing well-known and well-loved game, and provide new users with access to blockchain-based solutions. Even though Concordium is gaining popularity in Japan, it is a market where it prioritizes having reliable partners well-versed in Japanese culture and ecology. According to Lars Seier Christensen, the chairman of Concordium Foundation, the collaboration with Platinum Egg demonstrates our expanding interest in and dedication to blockchain-based gaming.
