Crypto.com to offer self-issued Visa Card in Singapore

Crypto.com has officially become an Associate Programme member in Singapore with plans to soon self-issue Visa cards to its users in Singapore. However, this further deepens the global partnership of Crypto.com and Visa, with the best reach to customers across the globe.

Visa Cards issued by Crypto.com will have crypto capabilities to facilitate trade between two parties. Acceptance by over 80 million merchants makes it a desirable product, along with benefits for card members and CRO rewards for different tier levels.

With the self-issuance of the Crypto.com Visa Card in place, users can expect many more features to be made available in the future. For instance, several digital services and payment features get introduced to enhance the ease and adoption of its Visa Card.

Kris Marszalek, the Chief Executive Officer of Crypto.com, expressed the excitement to deepen the global partnership with Visa, adding that customers will now have different ways to engage with cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment for goods they purchase and services they avail.

Crypto.com was, earlier known as Monaco, launched in 2016. The platform took nearly 3 years to develop a crypto exchange, including products like MCO Visa Card, mobile wallet, and Invest services. According to the Crypto.com exchange review, the platform aims to promote wider adoption of cryptocurrency across the globe.

Becoming an Associate Programme member adds a new feather to its cap, wherein the platform looks to function in regulated markets. However, this inculcates a sense of confidence among users who can access its one-stop-shop services like buying and selling crypto in a single place.

DeFi wallet on Crypto.com also allows users to trade with others within the defined ecosystem. However, fiat currencies are easily converted into cryptocurrencies. There may be a limit based on the region of residence; however, the conversion remains seamless for all users.

Over 20 fiat currencies are accepted by Crypto.com, allowing users to convert their traditional funds into the digital currencies of their preference.

A user who completes 30 days on the platform instantly becomes eligible for a low-cost service. Users can buy and sell their tokens at a minimal cost while also eliminating the fees on the deposit of cash into the account.Crypto.com works with different artists and creators to offer an effective NFT marketplace on the platform. Its NFT market is entirely based on the Crypto Blockchain.

Visa Cards issued by Crypto.com do not attract any annual fee. Users get a good percentage back on their spending. Users in Singapore will be able to experience these benefits once the platform begins issuing its Visa Cards. Becoming an Associate Programme member in Singapore takes Crypto.com a step forward in the direction of soon issuing the card. A definite timeline is currently unavailable, but Crypto.com is expected to make an announcement soon.
