Boston based crypto mobile Algorand announced on Tuesday that it has integrated with digital asset security platform Ledger’ Nano X program. In the official tweet, the Bitfinex-owned wallet shared a blog post where users can learn how to take advantage of the recent integration.

As per the blog post, integration with Ledger Nano X

is the platform’s first wallet Bluetooth integration. It further added,

“The Algorand Wallet is Algorand’s official mobile wallet that allows users to hold, transact, and request Algos or one of the hundreds of assets built on the Algorand blockchain. Within Algorand Wallet, you can access your various accounts along with their respective public and private keys. While all transactions are signed on the phone itself with private keys that never leave the device.”

Ledger, on the other hand, also announced their integration with Algorand and tweeted that they have been waiting for this for a long time.

In an official post that Ledger shared on its website, users can use either Nano X or Nano S to manage their Algorand (ALGO), and Algorand Standard Assets (ASA). Users can connect their apps to Algorand’s web-based wallet or the Algorand Wallet App for iOS and Android.

“While we’re already thrilled to have Algorand joining the long list of supported crypto assets, it’s also a unique occasion. The Algorand Wallet app for iOS and Android is the very first wallet application that is compatible with the Ledger Nano X through Bluetooth! This means that you can manage your ALGO with ease, anywhere you go.”
