Dash (DASH) Treats Its Users By Launching Its Own Gift Card Marketplace

It seems there are always surprises hidden around the corner for crypto enthusiasts to elevate their interest in digital currency. The latest announcement from Dash proves it once again. Dash, one of the popular digital currencies in today’s crypto market, announced the launch of its own marketplace of gift cards and rewards on 8th May 2019 via the company’s official Twitter handle.

This dedicated marketplace by Dash can be explored at https://giftcards.dash.org where Dash users can spend their Dash currency to purchase gift cards from a list of leading retailers in the United States. This list of retailers includes some of the biggest and trusted brands around such as Adidas, Bed Bath & Beyond, Domino’s, Macy’s, The Home Depot, Nike, and many more.

To implement this marketplace, Dash has partnered with eGifter, a prominent online provider of gift cards. The marketplace is hosted on Dash.org and also integrates Dash’s own unique technology called InstantSend. Thanks to this InstantSend technology, users will be able to experience considerably faster and seamless transactions on the newly launched marketplace.

In order to make things even more interesting for existing Dash users and to attract the new ones, Dash has announced to offer DashBack. DashBack can be considered as an automatic crypto rebate which will be offered to users as a reward for every gift card they buy through this marketplace.

Apart from that, users can also stand a chance to win additional DashBack when they purchase gift cards from any of the participating online retailers on Dash Gift Card marketplace. However, the additional DashBack is available with only a few selected retailers and for a limited period of time.

This online marketplace of gift cards can be thought of as an extension to the renowned eGifter marketplace where eGifter will serve both the merchants as well as the users. While this gift card platform will provide support services to the Dash users out there, it will record and handle the required terms, conditions, and redemption instructions for all the merchant partners.

The CEO of Dash Core Group, Ryan Taylor thinks of this marketplace as a huge win for their community. He said that their marketplace would let users safely and easily spend their crypto at multiple online retailers. Continuing further, Taylor stated that their goal has been to fill the gap that exists between the digital currencies and their mainstream adoption via easy, secure and fast payment solutions. As per Taylor, Dash’s very own marketplace is a big step taken on the right path.

CEO of eGifter Tyler Roye also came forward to share his opinion on this exciting collaboration. He stated that the partnership with Dash has been special for eGifter. He also added that they strongly believe in the viability and potential that cryptos possess as a payment method. As a company, eGifter sees Dash as an industry leader with its distinct InstantSend technology offering which facilitates within significantly faster confirmation times, says Roye.
