Dentacoin Incorporates 12 More Practices through Partnership with Cool Dent

Cryptocurrency has witnessed an overwhelming growth with almost all sectors, including healthcare opening their doors to it. With an aim to promote ways and means of how cryptocurrency can boost the healthcare sector, Dentacoin was created in 2017.

Dr. Dimitar Dimitrakiev, Philipp Grenzebach, and Jeremias Grenzebach spearheaded the development of this healthcare based blockchain. Calling itself the future of dentistry, Dentacoin has been targeting the $400 billion dental industry to create a dental blockchain.

In July, Dentacoin was accepted only at 38 dental practices. According to Dentacoin’s latest reports, the number has nearly doubled and is now accepted at 70 dental clinics. This progressive occurrence can be attributed to a host of new dentists who gave a thumbs-up to cryptocurrency.

A significant contribution towards this initiative was also made by Argentinian dental chain Cool Dent. Cool Dent specializes in 12 practices.

Highlighting its objective to upgrade the dental sector with modern techniques, Adrian Aranda, CEO of Cool Dent said that they strive to offer ‘…. a perfect smile, without waiting and without pain.’

Appreciating Cool Dent’s endeavors, Dentacoin stated that it is the largest practice now accepting cryptocurrency. This would facilitate Dentacoin’s efforts towards being ‘a universal industry-specific currency, that is independent of national borders.’

The Dentacoin (DCN) Token

Dentacoin is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token and therefore can be stored in any ERC-20 compatible wallet, for example, MyEtherWallet, Coinomi, and Ledger Nano S.

DCN is tradable on HitBTC, Cryptopia, Mercatox, IDEX, and CoinExchange. It’s paired with BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, and even DOGE.

As per reports of 22 August, Dentacoin has a market cap of $112,327,971. This is based on a circulating supply of 325,226,613,094 DCN (out of a total supply of 8,000,000,000,000) and an exchange rate of $0.000345.

Dentacoin has undoubtedly made themselves credible enough to be the next big thing in dental practices. However, they would have to keep upgrading themselves with more interesting innovations and features to maintain their stronghold on this sector through their new venture.
