Discord Clarifies Its Stand on Crypto Wallet Speculation

On Wednesday, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Discord, Jason Citron, reassured customers that the company is not making any plan to shift its business towards the non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Citron made it clear through his tweet emphasizing that the company is not the gearing to integrate the cryptocurrency wallet into its application.

This particular clarification coming from the topmost executive of the company proves that the organization is listening to its user base very carefully. It has been involved deeply with the community and walking the extra mile in order to alleviate their concerns about some of the things happening in the cryptocurrency space.

The company has already clarified that it will continue to strengthen its operations amidst its social media users becoming concerned about its possible crypto foray and change in its product portfolio. It seems that its users are particularly concerned about the company’s possible foray into other segments including NFT which might lead to a situation where the organizations lose track, focus, and direction.

Discord has already faced a backlash on its speculative plan of integrating crypto wallet in its services but now by clarifying its stand, it seems that the organization will be able to placate the users about retaining its services and remaining loyal to the company. It will be interesting to witness how this particular discussion will turn out in the future and what possible results it will lead for the company in terms of user base and market share. For the time being, it definitely makes sense for the company to remain invested in its correct crop of products and deliver exceptional customer service for future gains and business sustainability.
