Ducati to release its free digital collectible program today

Ducati is set to launch its first-ever digital collectible program on 26 July. The moto giant has entered a partnership with XRP Ledger and Web3Pro for the program.
The latest post by Ducati explained the program is helping the Bologna-based manufacturer enter Web3. The new initiative will leverage virtual channels to propose a unique experience to enthusiasts.
It will help moto enthusiasts to learn about Ducati’s present and future from a new perspective. The program combines Ducati’s heritage of craftsmanship and excellence with next-gen technology.
The objective behind the program is to pave the path for Borgo Panigale to reach more fans. Moreover, the project will cater to racing enthusiasts, technology lovers, and motorcyclists worldwide.
These digital collectibles will narrate the story of the Ducati. Users can access the collection on XRP Ledger, an energy-efficient, decentralized L1, and open-source blockchain.
Ducati’s first collectible will be a video containing every logo produced in Borgo Panigale between 1946 and 2023. This release will be a gift for fans to carry the symbol of Ducati’s passion into Web3.
Every user who registered on web3.ducati.com within 7 days of the announcement can get the collectible. Anyone registering after 2 August will be eligible for the upcoming limited edition Ducati collectibles.
This move came from a natural progression of Ducati’s legacy. The moto giant has always been pioneering in integrating next-gen technologies to entertain, nurture, and engage its user base.
Ducati was among the first brands to sell its first bike online back in January 2000. Thus, its entry into Web3 merely represents its natural evolution. Having partnered with the XRP Ledger and Web3Pro, the Bologna-based manufacturer is expecting a massive outreach into Web3 from the get-go.
