Serving the global crypto space with its reliable open-source, public, blockchain-oriented computing platform, the Ethereum Classic recently shared the results of its Ethereum Classic Use Satisfaction Survey with its community.
The strategic survey comprised of 8 questions concerning Ethereum Classic ecosystem. A compulsory response was required for 7/8 questions, and a mandatory explanation was to be given for 3/8 questions. The survey was shared amongst the miner groups and the EthereumStack groups for better participation from the users.
Post the completion of the survey, the DLT solution thanked the participants who took the time from their busy schedules to complete the survey. The platform stated that the survey results would help them in channelizing their business priorities, making the user experience better and also aid in achieving the overall economic growth.
Nearly 72% of participants agree to recommend Ethereum classic to a friend or colleague
The survey inquired to people if they will recommend Ethereum Classic solution to their friends or acquaintances after using it by themselves. This question had a majority of 23 participants giving their nod in favor and affirming to refer it to others as well. A whopping 71.9% votes of the total votes were given in the motion unanimously.
When asked about the reason for the rating given by an individual, there came a flood of interesting responses which included:
- Revolutionary technology
- Immutable & decentralized
- Easy to use
- ETC is unique and original
- good project, good community, not enough funds to rush to the goal
- Max supply and development team. Top 20 currency. Decentralized.
56% are using Ethereum Classic for more than 2 years
Nearly 56.3% of people said that they have been using the platform for 2 years or more. While 21.9% of people claimed that they have been using Ethereum Classic for a span of 1 to 2 years. 12.5% people conveyed that they have been employing the platform for their use for a period of 6 months to 1 year.
The participants also shared their views on the frequency of their Ethereum Classic usage. A maximum of 37.5% of voters said that they use Ethereum Classic once a week or even more frequently. 15.6% of people claimed that they use the solution every 2-3 months. There was a clash between the people who use the platform once a month and 2 to 3 times a month as both stood with 12.5% votes.
While comparing ETC with other blockchains, 50% of people claimed that it is much better in that respect. 15.6% of the people stated that the platform is almost the same as other solutions available in the marketspace.
The participants gave exciting responses for choosing a particular option concerning the questions. These included:
- ETC has a unique position as the longest PoW Ethereum platform
- Immutability feature and independent
- Safer and runs at a fast speed
- PoW, decentralized system, and smart contract ecosystem
When asked 90% gave a positive notion of using Ethereum Classic again

The survey also asked crucial suggestions from the participants, which can improve the Ethereum Classic ecosystem but could not find a place in the survey. The participants gave various responses like:
- More advertisement
- Need for hackathons on ETC
- Immutability
- Focus more on technology development rather than marketing
Apart from these suggestions, there were also some overwhelming responses from the participants as they applauded the network and promised to support it like always.
