Facebook to Hire Experienced Blockchain Techies for its New Blockchain Based Project

The blockchain recruitment process of Facebook to hire employees for its projects still continues, Facebook the social network is looking for suitable candidate to recruit for the post of lead commercial counsel for its projects backed with blockchain technology.

The recruitment news was posted on the official website of the company’s career page stating that the position will be accountable for preparing and discussing a wide range of contracts related to Facebook’s blockchain projects and also compromises of partnership which is required to launch and grow new products across the world.

The candidate should also be able to administer various deals and should hold a lawyer’s degree like J.D degree and hold membership in at least one US state.

Another duty of the job is to guide clients on legal problems, business strategies and other issues related to business. The role of the commercial counsel is to organize the relationship of Facebook with major associates and to design the monetary aspects of programs and products.

However, the candidate should be a tech expert having more than 5 years of legal experience along with more than 4 years of technology transactions experience mainly with payments technology or with blockchain. The candidate who has a strong interest in mobile payments or other payments is to be considered for the role.

Facebook’s plan related to blockchain enabled payments has been going around for some time now. According to the February reports of New York Times, the tech giant social network company Facebook has been working on building a token mainly for payments within the media platform of the company which consist of Facebook messaging service platform WhatsApp and Instagram.

Facebook is also thinking of using the blockchain technology for other purposes like to integrating identity solution, Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of the company in recent time announced on a video interview with Jonathan Zittrain who is the Law Professor of Harvard.

The sources of the New York Times suggest that the cryptocurrency may be launched by the first half of 2019 and is intended so, it will be a Stablecoin pinned to numerous fiat currencies.

Zuckerberg also mentioned, “you take your details and then store it in some decentralized system and then you will be having the option to log into sites without the need of an intermediary.”
Facebook in 2019 has posted more than 20 jobs related to blockchain technology and shows the interest of Facebook towards the technology.
