Gödel Labs, a leading blockchain-focused venture studio, has announced to lend support to the ongoing development process of Multi-Geth and will also play an important role in the potential creation of a new development team.
“We are happy to announce Gödel Labs will be joining the maintaining of the Multi-Geth project, a community-initiated multiplatform client. We are always dedicated to decentralized projects by building protocol-level systems and communities,” read the official announcement made by the Gödel Labs team.
According to the reports, ETC Labs’ core team, ETCCore’s version of multi-geth, will now be linked to a new repo with the same code base but with a different name “core-geth.” Multi-geth serves as a node client implementation of the globally acclaimed platforms, namely Ethereum Classic, Ethereum network, and other top-rated eth-supporting ecosystems.
The reports suggest that Wei Tang, who is the main developer and creator of Multi-Geth, had started separating himself from the highly anticipated project essentially on the ETC side due to some undisclosed reasons. The loss of the node client is likely to bring in negative repercussions on the decentralization of node implementations in the immensely popular and efficient ETC network.
“Though many details remain undecided, we are hiring the talent Engineers to join this Multi-Geth team! A more independent team is the key to a decentralized project. Thank you! For now, many details stay undecided, But yes, We are hiring the talent Engineers to join this Multi-Geth team! A more independent team is the key to a decentralized project,” elaborated the official statement of the Godel Labs team.
