In what is described as an apparent assassination attempt at a Florida golf course, Donald Trump was rushed back to safety after gunshots were fired near Donald Trump’s vicinity. The news has left everyone divided with sharp reactions coming from crypto as Bitcoin and MAGA dipped.

The incident comes just two months after another assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, where former President Trump was shot in the ear during a campaign rally.

Rolling at an email on the situation, Trump wrote, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!”

Hours after the assassination, a man identified as Ryan Wesley Routh has reportedly been arrested for the alleged assassination attempt. Routh, a pro-Ukraine activist, is famous for often complaining about politicians, like Putin, Trump and President Joe Biden.

However, Florida Governor DeSantis has announced that Florida will launch a “self-investigation” into the matter.

Crypto reacts?
Bitcoin has once reached $60k mark on 15th September before the momentous rally waned and it went down by 2.55% and is trading at $58,641.12, at the time of writing.

Post the assassination attempt, MAGA, too, saw a dip of 8.7% in the past 24 hours as it is currently trading at $2.22. Interestingly, crypto stocks had soared after the first assassination attempt on Trump that took place at a rally on July 15.

Apart from crypto, Trump Media Technology Group reportedly rose 6% in the night trading.
