Hats Finance Announced a New Meme Competition – Here’s What You Need to Know

Hats.Finance, a decentralized cybersecurity incentive network governed by its fast-growing community of backers and stakeholders, is excited to announce the launch of an all-new meme competition that allows participants to acquire a host of exciting prizes in lieu of their illustrative efforts.

In this regard, it should be noted over the past decade, memes have gained an increasing amount of mainstream traction for their ability not only to relay a sense of light-hearted humor but also explain the intricacies of various complex topics in a manner that is easily understandable for everyone.

That said, Hats’ aforementioned event is open to every person who prides themselves as being a savvy ‘meme lord.’ To elucidate further on what the competition entails, users are required to submit what they see as potentially becoming the next viral $Hats meme — with each and every entry automatically becoming eligible to win once submitted. In all, participants will be vying for a total prize pool of around $2000 USDC.

A Closer Look at the Matter

In recent years, a growing mountain of evidence seems to quite clearly suggest that a well-made meme can go a long way in explaining some of the most complex concepts related to various crypto protocols. In fact, Hats’ liquidity farming meme, which became a viral sensation recently, has helped fuel the platform’s growth and allowed more and more people to explore the fast-evolving world of decentralized finance (DeFi).

For this very reason, Hats’ is using the medium of memes to articulate the benefits of its offering rather than publishing a host of technically loaded articles and complex explanations on its website.

With that out of the way, it should be mentioned that for individuals to participate in the competition, they need to fulfill specific criteria, especially if they want to become eligible to win a part of the $2000 USDC. For starters, the submitted images need to be in one of the following formats, i.e., JPG, PNG, or GIF, and should be of a minimum size of 800×600 px @ 72 dpi. Copyrighted material or any IP-protected visual data — such as logos, brand tags, etc. — cannot be used.

All of the memes should feature content that is based on Hats’ security-oriented theme. Additionally, users are also required to follow Hats on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord while using the following hashtags, #$hats #hatsfinance.

Other Important Details Worth Noting

To be eligible to participate and win, all entries need to be made before the 20th of November. A list of all the finalists will be announced on Nov 22, with each meme being judged on a scale of 1–5 points based on aspects ranging from its overall quality, theme, and humor. The list of prizes is as follows — 1st place: $1000; 2nd place: $500; 3rd place: $300 and 4the place: $200.

Last but not least, every eligible submission will be duly added to Hats’ meme channel. However, participants must remember that they must possess a valid ETH address, telegram handle, and email address to qualify.
