Injective publishes community updates for May

Injective has published community updates for the previous month, that is May 2024. It encapsulates everything that Injective has achieved, or every aspect in which it has made significant advancements. While the list is long, a total of three things stand out: Arbitrum inEVM integration, Helix 2.0, and Fireblock integration.

For starters, integration with Arbitrum EVM has marked a groundbreaking advancement by pioneering interoperable EVM infrastructure. Injective, according to the community notes, has ushered in a new era in the development of dApps while increasing scalability, efficiency, and cross-chain compatibility. Most importantly, it brings together the strengths of injective and Arbitrum under the same roof.

Injective integrating Arbitrum EVM signals a dedication to the commitment of fostering innovation and making strides in blockchain technology.

The launch of Helix 2.0 has been defined as a revolutionary update by Helix and Injective. Rightly so, for it aims to make breakthroughs in DeFi by integrating RWAs—that is, real-world assets. It underlines attempts to bridge the gap between conventional assets and blockchain technology. This has helped Helix take four new RWA perpetual live on the platform: silver, gold, GBP, and euro.

The ecosystem has praised the launch of Helix 2.0 for its efforts to improve the user experience, functionality, and user interface. Thereby, creating a more versatile and dynamic platform.

Fireblocks and Injective coming together have paved the way for a pivotal development that entails expanding institutional access to DeFi, that is, decentralized finance. It effectively brings security and scalability to the ecosystem for digital asset transactions. Injective and Fireblocks will work together to leverage advanced security features of Fireblocks, such as multi-layer protection and MPC-based key management.
