- Tracing Slot Commitment Chains to the Genesis Block to sync Tangle
- Executing Finality at the same level
It has a basic structure that is based on the fundamentals of the block header of a blockchain. The node-issued block contains Slot Commitment, which has all the details about the slot. It further references the previous slot to create a chain.

IOTA has also termed it an innovative technology, adding that it helps provide a consistent and secure ledger state.
