Its no secret that Elon Musk has been a supporter of Dogecoin, and today, on his birthday, he has found a new supporter for its beloved. John McAfee, the great computer scientist and longtime promoter of cryptocurrencies, has agreed that Dogecoin is cryptocurrency poised for a big rally.
Dogecoin, which was launched as a fun crypto asset, but over a period of time, it has proved its mettle as a formidable altcoin. Many crypto experts and analysts expect Dogecoin to witness a huge rally soon. Elon Musk got linked to the token on April Fool’s day when Elon Musk was jokingly designated as the CEO of Dogecoin, which he seemed to accept, and since then, Musk has been a promoter of the token. His involvement even caused a cameo rally for Dogecoin.
McAfee, on the other hand, has, for a long time, supported cryptocurrencies, and advocated that digital coins are the future of monetary systems. He has also been a staunch critic of Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto. McAfee is also known to promote altcoins which he finds to be legit, and this time, he is vouching for Dogecoin.
When he was informed via a tweet by an enthusiast, that Dogecoin is poised for a big rally anytime soon, McAfee replied stating that he agrees to it.
In its initial days, Dogecoin was heavily criticized, though its creators, Jackson Palmer and Billy Markus, never bothered about the critics. In fact, there were times when people thought that Dogecoin is dead, but the Shiba Inu faced token kept bouncing back, breaking the odds.
McAfee himself has admired Dogecoin for quite some time. Earlier in May, he tweeted,
Doge started life as joke/prank coin. The coin now has a market cap of $360 mil. The crypto market is, in no way, related to the stock market. Inherent value is, ultimately, based on usage. Doge is one of the fastest growing coins based on use. Go figure.https://t.co/dKiY32rDq1

After McAfee’s reply in agreement, the enthusiast by the name of Garry tweeted that Dogecoin will go to the moon with CEO Elon Musk and Co-CEO John McAfee. In a previous tweet, he stated that John is 2nd CEO of Dogecoin.
John’s renewed agreement coming on the eve of Musk’s birthday is quite interesting. However, amid all this, one thing is for sure, that Dogecoin is due for its biggest rally, and will surely go to the moon.
