Join us for SF Blockchain Week 2019; Where Past Meets Future!

From October 28 to 3 November 2019, more than 5000 attendees will gather in San Francisco and Berkeley to celebrate the past and dictate the future of the Blockchain Industry. The purpose? To provide a world-class education for both consumers and developers with the goal of pushing the boundaries of blockchain innovation. SF Blockchain Week is where blockchain startups, enterprise companies, academics, developers, and investors from around the world come together to define the future of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The focus of this week-long, immersive experience is to help the industry reach mainstream adoption through fundamental education and engagement with leading projects. We have designed talks and workshops to create friendly debates on critical topics that the industry is facing today. Panelists and speakers are guided to express their honest opinions, even if it’s controversial, in order to foster an open conversation about the topics that matter. We hope that by doing so, we can paint the most realistic picture of the current state of the industry in a never before seen way. No more fluff, only pure engagement.

Our mission is to support consumer adoption and to educate the masses. This led us to challenge the high costs of conference tickets around the world. Therefore, we have decided to price our tickets at a cost where we can deliver a meaningful event yet still be inclusive to everyone who desires to attend. In addition, we decided to donate any profits left after the event to multiple non-profits who are donating their time and sweat to the blockchain community in SF.

Throughout the week, we will be having multiple events that cater to specific needs and audiences. Our main event, Epicenter, brings together the blockchain community from every background. We aim to paint an accurate picture of the entire industry in a single event. Prior Speakers include Charlie Lee (Founder of LiteCoin), Naval Ravikant (Founder of AngelList), John Burbank (Founder of Passport Capital), and many more. CESC explores the economic security aspects of blockchain protocols, including game theory, incentive design, mechanism design and market design along with other topics related to crypto-economics security. CESC also aims to foster collaborations among researchers and practitioners working on these topics. Prior speakers include Vitalik Buterin (Founder of Ethereum), Joseph Poon (Co-Author of Lightning Network & Plasma), Alessandro Chiesa (Founder of zCash), Jae Kwon (Founder of Cosmos), and more. The Blockchain Career Fair at UC Berkeley connects the brightest minds with frontier blockchain companies. We connect leading engineers and problem-solvers to companies that aim to bring new solutions to old problems. The DeFi Hackathon is an opportunity to build ideas alongside protocol experts, mentors, companies, and developers who are creating decentralized finance infrastructure and applications to power the freedom of ownership.

There is truly something for everyone at this action-packed event. You do not want to miss out on this immersive educational experience with a plethora of content for institutional, entrepreneurial, legal and technical audiences. We ask that attendees follow two simple rules: Come to Learn and Stay Curious! We’ll see you at SF Blockchain Week 2019.
