Kava Teams With Celer cBridge to Facilitate Cross-Chain Asset Transfers

Kava Network will join forces with Celer Network to successfully implement bridging support for Kava through the Open Canonical Token Standard of Celer Network. Users can bridge USDT, USDC, WBTC, DAI, and WETH between Kava and Ethereum securely, quickly, and at an extremely low cost.

The addresses of Celer-bridged tokens on the EVM Co-Chain of the Kava Network are:-

  • USDC — 0x23367BEA9B6931690960d8c59f6e708630f24E58
  • USDT — 0xfB1af1baFE108906C0f1f3B36D15919B95ee95BD
  • DAI — 0x49f2c0add1A345F4c76831c1AA3884fc523Ca5FE
  • WBTC — 0xaEa7D9Bc694a92ad0EFFfF0F30B700F7c4B23ba6
  • WETH — 0x9591865D9d4BBD3b5FA8a8E2400fD530D1a16191

Celer Network is a decentralized blockchain interoperability protocol launched in 2018 by prominent PhDs in Computer Science from different universities to meet the needs of the multi-chain world. The Celer Network builds core technology for multi-chains such as the State Guardian Network of Generalized State Channel Network, cBridge, layer2.finance, and Celer Inter-Chain Messaging Framework (Celer IM). Currently, Celer has reliable and strong team members from different parts of the world who are pursuing the global adoption of the blockchain network.

Celer cBridge is one of the strongest multi-chain networks that allows Any to Any, instant, and low-cost value transfers for more than 130 tokens across 33 blockchains and 720 bridges, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Polkadots, well as layer-2 scaling solutions including ZK and Optimistic rollups.

At more than $380 million TVL, the connectivity of cBridge is a strong addition to the Kava ecosystem. The partnership of Kava–Celer will allow Kava Network to continue evolving into a more scalable, optimized, and open layer-1 blockchain for Web 3.0 builders. The ecosystem partners of Kava have unlocked great value via the optimized support from two of the largest decentralized ecosystems, Ethereum and Cosmos, that has prepared the Kava Network for its massive growth in the future.

The initial bridging support of Celer will include USDT, USDC, DAI, WBTC, and WETH. Celer will soon extend its services to generate messaging and NFT bridging passing with the Celer Inter-Chain Messaging Framework, allowing a more flexible and secure approach and enabling interoperability between Kava and the wider blockchain space.

Kava.io is a lightning-fast and secure layer-1 decentralized blockchain network that combines Ethereum’s developer power with Cosmos interoperability and speed in a single, secure, scalable network.
