KuCoin Crypto Exchange Announces Support For BSV Hard Fork Upgrade

Serving the global investors with its unprecedented suite of crypto asset offerings, KuCoin has announced the news that it shall be lending support to the highly anticipated crypto event, the Bitcoin SV or the BSV Hard Fork upgrade.

According to the official report, KuCoin will halt the BSV deposit and withdrawal services for a temporary period on February 3, 2020, at 22:00 (UTC+8). The BSV Node team has unveiled the latest 1.0.0 version of the Bitcoin SV Node implementation. The Genesis hard fork upgrade is slated to go live on February 4, 2020, and the new version infuses the updates needed to support the Genesis upgrade. All the installations of Bitcoin SV Node implementation need to be upgraded by the February 4, 2020 deadline. The previous versions of the software will be rendered incompatible with the updated rules and will go inoperable after the set date.

The official post affirmed that after the completion of the hard fork upgrade, the BSV would create a new deposit address for the investors. The users will have to use the new address for depositing their assets after the exchange reopens the deposit and withdrawal services.

According to our KuCoin review, with an aim to induce more and more customers into the exchange network, KuCoin has slashed the withdrawal fees for leading digital currencies. The exchange has also reduced the withdrawal fee of some ERC20 tokens as well.
