Bit Trade, an exceptional Australian cryptocurrency exchange platform has opened an equity crowdfunding campaign. It is the first crypto exchange firm in Australia to launch one.
The longest operating Crypto exchange in the country, Bit Trade was established since 2013. The firm has raised $3 million in order to fund its strategic growth and international expansion. The firm has achieved the amount with the help of the platform named ‘Equitise’.
Equitise is one of the leading equity crowdfunding platforms in Australia. It is acknowledged for giving retail investors a capital foothold in Australian companies and innovative small businesses.
Here, on occasion, Bit Trade’s managing director and co-founder Jonathon Miller expressed that “At Bit Trade, we’re excited by the opportunity to help launch Australia’s premier gateway for the future of investment through the new asset class of smart securities.”
He added, “We’re passionate about building the next generation of wealth, and we see that future being in cryptocurrencies.” According to Miller $5.9 billion in digital currencies was traded by Australians in 2017.
He revealed, “It doesn’t matter if you’re crypto curious or crypto serious, our platform’s accessible to both individuals and institutions and we’re really excited to be able to throw down the gauntlet and be the first Aussie digital exchange to open up our doors to everyday investors.”
In the long future, Bit Trade aims to diversify its revenue base, scale its platform and achieve customer insights into the daily trading habits of its user-base.
Here, the crowdfunding platforms Equitise’ co-founder Jonny Wilkinson believes that the interest in bitcoin hasn’t died down. He noted, “Equitise is giving investors the chance to gain a foothold in exciting or emerging industries like the world of cryptocurrencies.”
Remarkably, Australian Investor Study figured out that in the last 12 months, 65 percent of Australians have used the online trading platform, which is quite a large number.
