Mastercard Artist Accelerator Program: Web3 project to connect artists, mentors & fans

Mastercard has now taken the initiative to leap into the next level of propagating music by successfully launching its Web3-based Mastercard Artist Accelerator Program. It is accepted and well-understood that Web3 has the inherent potential of creating an altogether different angle where music content creation is concerned. This is all the more so in the context of upcoming artists.

However, now, the Mastercard Artist Accelerator will open the doors for linking up with artists of one’s choosing amongst others from all over the globe, including their respective mentors and fan base, while they are in the process of learning and creating on the Web3 space.

The program awaits to culminate with a live-streamed artist at some later date in 2023. Furthermore, all the artists will gain a common and useful platform where they will be able to stay connected with all their mentors and follow a curriculum to learn. Furthermore, the artists get the chance to build their own brand through new NFT experiences like minting NFTs and representing themselves within a virtual world.

As per the plans at Mastercard, all of this is slated for some time at the beginning of the year 2023. Further to that, the Mastercard Artist Accelerator is going to be actively involved in making the necessary arrangements for five upcoming artists. This would include musicians, producers, and the respective DJs.

They will be duly equipped with all of the essential tools and skills. Along with that will be the connection through which they will be in a position to take forward their own musical journey in the digital economy. In the bargain, all of the chosen artists will be able to connect with special events, music releases, and many other activities. They will also be tutored in the ways of building on their brand image through Web3 exposure, like in the case of mining NFTs, making their position felt in the metaverse and connecting with the inclined community.

The idea behind the program is actually to bring all genres of creators on a single platform and score avenues of increasing the music-oriented folks. It also gives a welcoming signal to the fan base. Through their Mastercard Music Pass, which happens to be a limited edition NFT, holders of it will be able to connect with the Web3 music educational paraphernalia and musical exposure.

Furthermore, with the help of this, fans too will be able to connect with the platform and gain knowledge along with the artists. According to Raja Rajamannar, who happens to be the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Mastercard, the company’s entire aim and intention are to see the music community, on the whole, grow as never before, with the spotlight being on the upcoming artists and the opportunity for healthy interactions with the connected community.
