Metaphysic develops AI for a hyperreal Metaverse experience

Metaphysic recently announced collaborating with Creative Artists Agency. The partnership will result in the development of AI tools that enable hyperreal metaverse experiences.

According to the latest tweet by Coindesk, Metaphysic will work with Miramax and develop content for ‘Here,’ the upcoming Tom Hanks starrer. Tom Graham, the co-founder of Metaphysic, also shared insights on the topic.

Metaphysic received its initial recognition with a viral deepfake of Tom Cruise in 2022. Now, the company is working with Robert Zemeckis for the Tom Hanks starrer flick. Featuring Robin Wright and Tom Hanks, the movie reunites the Forrest Gump co-stars.

According to Robert, the movie will use Metaphysic tools to de-age the actors. Its work also includes AI-generated face replacement, required to depict a story spanning generations. Based on the novel under the same name, ‘Here’ is established in New England.

The tweet by Coindesk accompanied a short video including the co-founder. Tom Graham is seen talking about developing ethical AI in the metaverse. The video sheds information on copyright and data ownership involved in blockchain and digital identity.
