MG Motor unveils MGverse at the Auto Expo 2023, following Maruti’s footsteps

It has only been a week since Maruti Suzuki introduced its second Metaverse, ArenaVerse. The auto giant designed the platform to expand its reach and attract a larger audience.

Following Maruti Suzuki’s launch of ArenaVerse, MG Motor started its endeavor within the Metaverse world and launched MGverse.

MG Motor, another huge name in the auto industry, followed this announcement with a metaverse platform of its own. The company revealed its latest platform, MGverse, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023. According to the company, the platform connects users to Auto Expo and MG Motor, allowing them to visit the MG Pavilion from anywhere.

The 3D VR-based immersive platform is now live and has been integrated into the Explore and Creator’s center. The virtual experience zone has been established to offer extender consumer experience touchpoints. 

Situated within the MG Arena, the center includes an Avatar Shop that lets visitors and customers accessorize, personalize, develop, and purchase MG vehicles within the Metaverse.

Gaurav Gupta, MG Motor India’s Chief Commercial Officer, talked about the recent launch. According to Gaurav, since the automotive shopping journey has migrated online, modern customers have been demanding virtual brand experiences and products.

That is why MGverse is the first-of-its-kind platform that creates an immersive customer experience. It was a matter of pride, and the MG team has filled the platform with advantages that simulate human interactivity, added Gaurav.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki has dedicated its platform to the Arena showroom network. It allows users to interact with a virtual world, offering access to every Maruti Suzuki car. Seeing how the race for the Metaverse has been picking pace, ArenaVerse and MGverse will certainly lead the space by setting an example. 

However, it was stated earlier that MGverse is on the journey of providing virtual experiences across multiple domains within a single continuum. This, in turn, would allow the users to play, collaborate, socialize, and shop at the same time without any issues. The MGverse is willing to give 5 different experience zones, namely the Gaming Arena, Explore & Creator’s Center, MG Car Club, NFT Gallery, and MG Knowledge Center.
