NFT Fever Grips Bollywood Stars with the New Upcoming Launch

NFT (Non-Fungible Token) use is not limited to crypto investors or traders but is now spreading over Bollywood stars. From Legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan to Salman Khan and TV actors, everyone introduces their version of NFT.

NFTs let users acquire and sell the ownership of one-of-a-kind digital objects in cryptocurrencies by keeping track of who owns them via Blockchain. From drawings, artworks, tweets, animated GIFs, and music, all digital content are stored on NFTs.

Unlike cryptos, which can be traded for other cryptocurrencies, each NFT is one-of-a-kind and cannot be traded for another thing.

NFT Mingling with Bolly Stars

Vishal Malhotra, a TV personality and actor, recently teamed up with artist Ishita Banerjee to introduce an NFT that sold for 2.5 Ethereum ($5,500) – five times the stated price. In July, Terrain.art had an exhibition exhibiting the artworks of Bengal-born artist Lalu Prasad Shaw, which were validated using NFTs.

Amitabh Bachchan has created his non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which comprise limited-edition artworks inspired by the actor and his life. The megastar’s recital of poetry from Madhushala, his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s outstanding collection of poems, will also be up for grabs at the NFTs. He will also share stories from his illustrious career.

Besides Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan too jumped to the bandwagon and announced the launch of his NTFT. The actor told the introduction of his collection of NFTs on Twitter. He will be accessible only on BollyCoin, a new, specialized, Bollywood-themed NFT platform founded by Bollywood actor, producer, and director Atul Agnihotri. Fans will be able to invest in movie snippets and stills, classic conversations, posters, never-before-seen videos, and celebrity social media material and goods through the site.

Sunny Leone also joined the group by setting up the website named sunnyleonenft.com. She will present her collection, which includes costumes and animation created by global artists. Even though Big B’s collection is slated to debut in November, Leone is the first Bollywood celebrity to wear NFTs.

Leone stated that NFTs allow her to express via the medium of art. Each NFT will be unique, with varying levels of rarity ranging from rare to super rare. Each NFT helps to unlock material and maybe even experiences with me in the future. To me, we must establish an NFT collection that lasts longer than a single release.

With Bachchan, Salman, and Leone ready to be the first Bollywood stars to launch their own NFTs, Indians are increasingly interested in learning more about the new crypto asset. The NFTs will be available on BeyondLife.club, a Singapore-based conglomerate, and GuardianLink.io, a no-code NFT trading platform.

Co-founder of Rhiti Entertainment & Chairman of GuardianLink.io Keyur Patel mentioned that GuardianLink.io is bringing closer gaps between crypto-savvy and collectors worldwide by removing the difficulty of involvement in the sector with its no-code NFT Exchange architecture and deep Legitimacy Protocol Infrastructure.

The Growing Platform

However, after the epidemic, the globe became digital, and the market exploded, becoming the talk of the town in no time, especially in India. Since 2014, NFTs have been increasing. As the NFTs are interoperable, anybody may convert them to another Cryptocurrency, such as Ethereum, in the future.

Globally, digital artist Michael Winkelmann, often known as Beeple, recently sold one of his NFT works for over $70 million. In April, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s NFT artwork was auctioned for more than $5.4 million. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey even sold his first tweet as an NFT for over $2.9 million.
