T-Mobile Enters TV Streaming Services, Plans Start at $10

US telecom giant T-Mobile announced on Tuesday the launch of TVision, a TV streaming service by the company with the aim of un-cabling the TV experience. In the official tweet, it stated that there would be no annual service costs, and users will get access to live TV from as low as $40 per month.

T-Mobile is one of the biggest telecom companies in North America, partially owned by Germany’s Deutsche Telekom and Japan’s SoftBank Group. In the video posted on Twitter, the telecom company explained that the three plans has come up with distinct audiences.

The cheapest plan is for $10 per month which will allow subscribers to access entertainment channels, including movies, TV shows, reality shows, etc. The second plan is $40 per month, and targets those who want live streaming of big TV news channels and sporting events, including the NFL, NBA, etc. The third and most premium plan is for $50 per month. With this plan, users will be able to watch all their favorite shows from several streaming networks like Epix, Show Time, Starz, etc.

TV streaming service is one of the major utility business in the United States, and the industry is witnessing a renewed surge in demand. With big tech companies gripping the market, the local cable operators are bound to face a tough time.
