Now, HTC Lets You Buy Exodus 1 With Fiat Currencies
The fever of crypto asset has come to rest, and the bearishness is killing the enthusiasm in the crypto market. In this scenario, HTC is busy to promote the sale of its famous phone Exodus 1.
Developed by HTC, Exodus 1 is a blockchain-based smartphone which was designed to give crypto-friendly experience. The phone has an advanced private key management system. Since its launch, HTC allowed to purchase the phone only with digital currencies. But, now looking at the dull vibe in crypto space at present, the electronics giant has decided to open the payment option in fiat currencies also.
HTC, the Taiwanese consumer electronics firm has announced at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona, that it will start the purchase of the crypto-enabled with fiat currencies from March 1. The cost of the phone in fiat money will be $699. HTC introduced the phone for sale in October 2018. At the time Exodus 1’ price was 0.15 Bitcoins or 4.78 Ethereum, equivalent to around $950. Those who missed out to buy the blockchain phone at the time can now buy the phone for fiat currency.
So, what exactly lies on the phone?
The phone is designed for especially a decentralized web. Exodus 1 features a native wallet named ‘Zion Wallet.’ The wallet uses a “trusted execution environment… free from malware,” according to HTC’s website. Some significant entities from the corporate world and government have shown a green signal to the blockchain supported smartphone. Apart from the wallet, the phone has 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage with a 6-inch 1440p LCD on the front. It operates on Snapdragon 845 while having transparent glass on its back. Basically, the smartphone by HTC is largely made to serve crypto enthusiasts. The phone was also appreciated by the creator of the Ethereum Project Vitalik Buterin.

Moreover, HTC has announced a collaboration with Opera Browser, which will plug into the Zion wallet. This partnership will make the online crypto transactions easier for the Exodus 1 users. Notably, Opera browser uses own basic attention token cryptocurrency to fund website advertise payments. Opera also confirmed the partnership on Twitter,
