Ripple Announces 1 Billion XRP Grant to Coil, a Micropayments Platform for Content Creators
Ripple‘s investment auxiliary, Xpring has sanctioned 1 billion XRP to Coil, which is a micropayments platform for content makers, expecting to drive the adoption of the world’s third-biggest cryptocurrency by market cap. The grant is worth approximately 262 million dollars at the present cost, which will be utilized to improve the business model of Coil by making it simpler to monetize content by using Ripple’s Interledger Protocol that empowers streaming micropayments in any money, which also includes XRP.
