Ripple (XRP) Gets Quoted in a French Television Show

Crypto land must be proud of the French television show- “Tout le monde veut prendre sa place.”For the non-French speakers, the translation of French television show’s title is- Everyone wants to take its place.” You must be thinking why the crypto land will be proud of a TV show? Well, since the crypto industry is still on its growth curve, things like spreading awareness about the industry in any form such as writing, media, shows, competitions etc, turns out very helpful in making public aware of the crypto industry and therefore, the adoption of the crypto becomes more and more conceivable.

Talking about the point in the TV show where Ripple XRP was mentioned was when the TV host asked the question:

Which cryptocurrency invented in 2008 is the most used in the world?” (The options for this question were- 1. Bitcoin (BTC), 2. Ripple (XRP), 3. Ether (ETH), and 4. Litecoin (LTC.)

What made this scenario even more interesting was the presence of Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple. When the question was asked, against the expectations, the CEO of Ripple didn’t show any outward reaction.

The show’s concept goes like this- there are several rounds of games. Six participants participate in the show. They face a champion who stands in the center setting of the show. Through the rounds of games, the participant who is able to defeat the champion becomes the new winner/ champion.

On the other hand, France is taking major strides in promoting cryptocurrency at the national level. It has removed any cap on the investment in the cryptos. This new law applies to institutions such as insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
