Ripple Price Analysis: XRP Surges in a Day, Despite Hack Incident of 100 XRP Ledger Wallets

GateHub, a cryptocurrency wallet service provider has revealed that nearly 100 XRP Ledger wallets have been hacked on their platform. Reportedly, 23,200,000 XRP tokens were stolen from 80-90 victims and the investigations are going on.

It is to be seen how such a hack will affect the Ripple price trend. The crypto coin was in a hassle in order to make a notable rebound out of the bearish trend it was in since the last few days. However, in the last 24 hours, it seems XRP price has shown a remarkable increase.

Ripple reached as high as 0.43 USD with an increase of 8.61%. From the price point of 0.39 USD, Ripple price had soared to 8.95% in just 1 hour and 34 minutes, according to the chart.  

Ripple then traced a downward swing with gradual price drop followed by a gradual rebound at 0.42 USD price point. Since then, the crypto-coin has not seen much of price fluctuation.
