Rolling Stone and Coinbase to Launch NFT Collection

The Rolling Stone Live NFT collection, which features 12 digital artists working in the blockchain industry, was created in collaboration with Coinbase. According to Rolling Stone, the artists were entrusted with developing the NFTs, which also carry the Rolling Stone logo. Artists that participated in the album include Elise Swopes, Deadfellas, Kideight, Boss Beauties, Markthal Habibi, Mikegrillmadeit, Domino, Alida Sun, Giant Swan, Jeff Manning, Emonee LaRussa, and Mister Goldie. The initial static design will be animated later this year before being on sale on Coinbase NFT, a peer-to-peer NFT marketplace. The limited edition will provide enthusiasts with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to possess a piece of crypto history made by some of the industry’s most prominent digital artists.

The event marks the beginning of ongoing cooperation between Rolling Stone and Coinbase, according to the American magazine. The artwork will be animated before becoming available for purchase on the Coinbase NFT marketplace later this year, according to the statement. The limited release will provide fans an exceptional chance to possess a piece of history made by some of the crypto space’s most prominent digital artists.

As indicated by the cooperation with Coinbase and the unique non-fungible token distribution, Rolling Stone has already experimented with non-fungible tokens. Last year, Rolling Stone and the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT initiative cooperated on a collector’s edition zine. Lisa Mayer, the creator and CEO of Boss Beauties expressed her joy at the chance to contribute to the NFT collection.
