Sandbox Joins Ubisoft to Introduce Rabbids to the Metaverse
Creators and players can use The Sandbox’s free VoxEdit and Game Maker authoring tools to include voxel characters and stuff into their own adventures.
Ubisoft authorities mentioned that they are ecstatic to introduce the Rabbids to The Sandbox community and also provide gamers the ability to build unique experiences using components from our gaming IP. They look forward to seeing how they adapt the Rabbids’ universe to their own. The Sandbox remains the most unique and entertaining playground to add to the list of Rabbids, as well as a wonderful opportunity for Ubisoft to test the overall experience of metaverse for brands.
The creation of voxelized versions of Rabbids’ characters and stuff has already begun. A video posted on Sandbox’s YouTube channel shows the Rabbids getting ready to explore The Sandbox map, which will be available in Ubisoft LAND and will let users participate in unique adventures made by players.
The aim is to work with popular IPs along with brands loved by players, such as Ubisoft’s world-class games, to keep offering unique experiences, as well as characters that creators may use in their own original adventures in The Sandbox.
The Sandbox, which is half virtual real estate and part amusement park, fully embraces the concept of the metaverse as a shared digital realm where worlds and heroes combine to create magic. The Walking Dead, Warner Music Group, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, and CryptoKitties are among the more than 200 partnerships that follow. The Sandbox aims to help players in creating their own experiences using both original and known characters and worlds.
